July Giveaway; Image Skincare!
Welcome back ladies! I am so excited to share with you all yet another brand that I have used for many years and absolutely love; Image Skincare. I was first introduced to this brand by a girlfriend who I was telling that I was starting to see early signs of aging. A little wrinkle here and there, some dehydration and a bit of a dull complexion overall. Plus I am true believer that in order for skincare to work you have to switch things up or rotate your routine. Otherwise your skin gets used to the same products and hits a plateau, at least thats true for me.
So when she told me about the line I knew I had to try it since her skin looked pretty flawless. Ever since then I have been a fan and rotate Image Skincare with my Revision Skincare products and I couldn’t be happier. For me the way I take care of my skin has always been a priority & its a lot of work but the benefits and the rewards are the reasons why I am so adamant about it all. That being said lets jump into the review & giveaway of these yummy products!
First up is one of my ultimate faves of this line; Vital C Hydrating C Facial Oil. Holy cow. This product is EVERYTHING. The smell itself is so yummy, sort of citrusy and fresh. The whole point of this oil is to hydrate super dehydrated skin and that it does. I remember using this when I was pregnant and my hormones were raging and this was the only thing that calmed my skin & gave it that glow again by getting rid of the flaky dryness. I use it on cleansed skin am & PM depending how dry my skin is, after my treatments (Retinols etc) and before a moisturizer (although sometimes this acts as my moisturizer and I don’t use anything else). The price of this gem is around $45 bucks for a 1oz bottle, which has lasted me now for a few months & I still have half left over. A little goes a long way.. Some of the ingredients are:
- Sea buckthorn
- Grapeseed oil
- Stabilized antioxidants
- Anti-inflammatory botanicals
- Paraben and mineral oil free
Next up is the Prevention + Daily Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 30. I LOVE this product. The product is light enough that it doesn’t look caky as some tinted moisturizers can look. But the coverage of it is pretty nice and you get the “dewy” effect. I rotate this SPF with my Revision Skincare Original tinted moisturizer (which you can read the full review here) and wear one or the other daily. Sometimes on top of my moisturizer sometimes this is enough to use as both an SPF and moisturizer. The price of this product is roughly about $33 bucks for 3.2 oz bottle and it has lasted me for a very long time!
Another one of my favorites from the Vital C line is the Hydrating Anti Aging Serum. Smell wise its the same as the Hydrating Oil but the consistency is more of a lightweight lotion than a serum. I absolutely love this as its my main “serum” that I use. I apply it on cleansed skin mostly in the AM after my Retinols etc and before any kind of moisturizer. The price of this baby is about $74 bucks (roughly). Some of the ingredients are:
- New technology of oil-soluble Vitamin C with the highest bio-availability to immediately soothe the visible effects of environmentally damaged skin.
- Vitamins A, E and highly potent anti-oxidants
- Paraben free.
I will follow it up with the Max Stem Cell Cream. I love this as its a very important part of my routine. The consistency is a little thicker & the smell is very nice and clean. This is meant for the evening so of course I use it then after the serums and Retinols. I wake up with my skin looking more plump and smooth (I think the Retinols also help) A little goes a long way so this 1.7oz jar lasts a long time. It’s about $80 bucks. Some of the ingredients are:
- New stem cell technology derived from herbaceous alpine plants supports natural skin defense mechanisms
- Contains a maximum concentration of peptides to smooth wrinkle formation due to facial expressions and to support collagen regeneration
- The MAXimum benefit is achieved through a high concentration of botanical ingredients without the use of chemical preservatives or fillers
- This stem cell crème is formulated to regenerate skin and support natural defense mechanisms
- Paraben free
I will finish off the review with their eye cream, because lets be honest its super hard finding an eye cream these days. There is such an abundance of them out there, but finding one that actually does what it promises is hard. So I have been rotating between my DEJ eye cream from Revision Skincare and this bad boy Ormedic Balancing Eye Gel. I simply LOVE this cream. First let me start out by saying that although it says gel it actually looks and feels more like a very light weight lotion (which is good because gels tend to dry up my eyes even more). A tiny bit goes a long way and it really moisturizers the under eye. I have also seen a difference in my amount of wrinkles that have been showing up (it helps I wear sunglasses pretty much 24/7 even when sitting indoors with super bright outside light coming in LOL). Its about $26 bucks, which is a steal for a .5 oz bottle (again little goes a long way!). Some of the ingredients are:
- Aloe Vera
- Barbadensis Leaf Extract Olea
- Europaea Oil (Organic)
- Crosspolymer Hyaluronic acid
- Palmitoyl Pentapeptide
